Dr Leo Drollas
Director & Chief Economist
 

Heads the CGES’ oil and gas market analysis and forecasting. Specialist on strategic hedging. Former head of energy studies and econometric analysis at BP. Dr Drollas has a PhD in economics from the London School of Economics.
Dr Manouchehr Takin
Senior Petroleum Upstream Analyst
  

Specialist in oil production capacity and costs in the Gulf, Iran, the North Sea and non-OPEC. Nine years at the OPEC Secretariat and over fifteen years in the oil industry. Dr Takin has a PhD in geophysics from Cambridge University.
Julian Lee
Senior Energy Analyst
  

Specialist in oil market analysis, Russia, the Caspian Sea and West Africa, producing major studies on the oil and gas industries of these regions. Julian is also Deputy Editor of the Global Oil Report. Julian holds an MSc degree in operational Research from the London School of Economics.
James Longmore
Associate Energy Analyst
  

Main area of research is the oil futures market, while he also contributes to a range of CGES subscription publications, including the Weekly Outlook. He joined the Centre in 2008.
